Asking an agent to summarize your messages is useful. But other people wrote those messages. A sender can place instructions in one, telling the agent to send data elsewhere, delete a message, or ignore the original request. Giving the agent unrestricted mailbox access can turn a reading task into a risk of unintended action.

I built protonmail-mcp around this boundary. The server connects an MCP client to Proton Mail through Proton Bridge, which exposes IMAP and SMTP locally. It offers specific tools to the agent instead of allowing arbitrary IMAP or SMTP commands.

Automate SSH Key Generation with ssh-keybuild

Introduction

Manually juggling SSH keys across different projects and hosts is both tedious and error‑prone. I built ssh-keybuild to provide a lightweight, reliable, all-in-one solution to:

Quickly generate ed25519 or RSA keys

Auto‑add the key to your SSH agent

Copy the public key to your clipboard

Update
~/.ssh/config
without duplicates

In this post, we’ll explore the script’s main features and how to get up and running in minutes.

Where to Find the Script
